Clay

 

Clay smells wonderful and earthy. After working all Spring, Summer, and Fall with cement, I am ready to take a pause from the cement material and work in clay. Clay is fun to take risks with. By holding my breath and not giving up when ideas try to fail, I discovered my own technique of carving out my sculptures. They can be used as lamps or to hold candles and can create cool shadows on the walls.
